It was a nice day out today, which was rather odd. Because of this niceness of the day, Billie thought that she would take advantage of it and take her German Shepard, Max, for a walk and a play down at the park. Max was the one condition of her moving in with Jonathan, she didn't want to leave him with her mother and father, she didn't trust them enough to take good care of him. Jon didn't have a problem with her bringing him, just as long as she took care of him instead of him having to since he was a busy man trying to run a school. Billie was fine with it, she had no problem with it at all.
It was a Saturday, so there were a fair few people around, but that didn't bother Billie much at all, actually she quite enjoyed being in crowds. Max barked at a few people as they walked past them, and as a few people looked at the harmless dog with looks of fear on their face, Billie laughed. She thought that it was hilarious when people feared her pet, because he was so harmless, the only thing he could possibly do was knock you down and lick you to death. her laughing always got the attention of a few more people, but she loved attention, she thrived in it. She simply smiled when she noticed people looking at her.
Once they came to the park, Billie held Max's face close to hers and spoke to him. "I'm gonna let you off, okay," she said as she un-clipped his leash, still holding onto him, "now you be a good boy, okay." She let him go and he ran off, playing with some other dogs that were there. she smiled as she watched him bowl some over and then laughed a little when she saw the owner yelling at Max for knocking their precious little dog over. she took her eyes off him for a second to check her phone, which had no messages, and he had vanished. Billie sighed as she got up to find him. He couldn't have gone far. She gasped a little when she saw him running toward a footpath where there were people walking. She ran toward him calling out to him. He slowed when he heard her voice, but did not stop. she cursed as she reached him, grabbing his collar just before he ran into some guy. "Max, don't do that." She said as if she was talking to a child.

It was indeed a nice day for a walk. Certainly not a day that should be spent inside. That was the last thing Emmet would do on such a nice day. Today, his attire consisted of light blue skinny jeans, with a long sleeved grey shirt, topped with a tiger cat that sat atop of his shoulders. Emmet stroked the cat's neck, as it moved around his shoulders, trying it's best to not fall off. " You're such a silly cat, Mystic."He said softly as he continued to scratch at the feline's neck as he walked. His eyes examined everyone he walked by. A small smile would often form on his lips as he would see an elderly couple walking hand in hand. Emmet wasn't big on people, but there were some instances where he actually showed that he cared. Why should he? He would never see them again in his life; but Emmet was that type of person that always cared, no matter what.
Stopping, Emmet looked at a large oak tree that stood before him. His eyes twinkled in the sunlight as he looked up, the sun's rays peeking through the branches of the tree. Heaving a sigh, Emmet decided to take a spot beneath the tree, grabbing Mystic off his shoulder, and gently placing the cat on his lap. Emmet picked at the dandelions that surrounded him, tying the ends together to make what looked like a hat. He chuckled a bit as Mystic swatted at the flowers as he picked them. His eyes were raised from his cat as he heard someone speak, "Max, don't do that!"Emmet scanned the area till he found a girl who was trying to control her German Shepard. The dog made him feel a bit uneasy, considering he had his cat with him, and dogs usually chase cats. He grabbed Mystic, and held him tight in his lap, ready to stand and keep the cat out of reach of the dog.

Urgh, sometimes Billie wished that she could have the most obedient do in the world, then she wouldn't have to keep eyes on him all the time and he wouldn't take off like he does and jump on people and chase things. And he certainly would not do what he was about to. Billie had stood up and taken her hands off Max and was about to clip his leash back on so he didn't do anything else. he had obviously caught a scent because his nose went straight to the sky and he was looking around. And before Billie could do anything about it, he was off again. "Oi! Max! Get back here!" but of cause it wasn't going to help, since he had caught the scent of a cat, the one thing that always distracted him and caught his attention.
The brunette ran after him, and saw what he was running for, some guy with a cat. she sighed and sped up trying to catch him before he got the them and tried to eat the guy's pet. she cursed under her breath as she ran, leash in hand. She was too late as when she got to Max, he was trying to get at the guy's cat. "Stupid dog." She stated as she clipped on his leash and pulled him to her side. She looked to the guy that had just been terrorised by her pet. "I'm so sorry. He's so stupid." she gave a small smile.

Emmet had guessed correctly. As soon as he saw the dog running towards him, he shot up and lightly placed Mystic on a low tree branch. He looked up, making sure that his pet was alright before looking down to the dog and it's owner. " It's alright."He said calmly, giving the dog a pat on the head. " It's life, he's not the first dog to go after Mystic, so he's used to it. Still have to keep a close eye on him, can't be too sure with the dogs that people have around here." Emmet knelled down to pet the dog, Max, a bit more. He then realized what he said and looked up at the girl. " Not that your dog is bad or anything, just being cautious is all." He smirked a bit before looking back down at Max.
Every few seconds, he would look up at Mystic, who sat there watching, tail swaying back and forth. He chuckled a bit, and stood, brushing off his pants before holding a hand out. " I'm Emmet by the way."He said, smoothly, waiting for her response.

Billie sighed a little when the guy said that it was alright, at least he wasn't going to have a fit about it like other people he had ran at and jumped all over while they were screaming and panicking and wanting him to get off and leave them all alone. People like that were the one's that made her laugh, he was just a big dog, harmless, and all he did was lick them, it wasn't like they were going to die from being licked. But they still made the biggest deal out of it, like it was the end of the world for them if Max didn't get off, god they needed to grow up in Billie's opinion. "Too true, I don't know how some people handle their dogs, especially when they go mad and stuff." She smiled softly when he knelt down to pat Max, the animal that had just tried to eat his pet.
At the touch, Max's tail went wild with wagging and he tried to lick the boy's hand, maybe because he could smell the cat on it, or maybe just because he liked to lick things all the time. "Oh, that's okay, really." She didn't care all that much about what people had to say about her dog, just like she didn't care what people had to say about her. But he wasn't really saying anything about her dog, just about dogs in general. She smiled when she finished talking. Every few seconds, Billie would glance up to the cat as it swished it's tail here and there, weary that there was a dangerous dog nearby, but only dangerous to it.
Her attention again returned to the boy as he stood up and introduced himself as Emmet. Billie smiled, "Billie." She said as she extended her hand to shake his, "I've never met an Emmet before." Her eyes darted up to the cat once more, and then back at Max, who was eying the feline as if he was about to leap at any second. She tightened her grip on the least and wrapped it around her hand a few more times, so Max only had the smallest amount of slack on his end. "That's a nice cat, pretty."

Emmet smiled as he shook Billie's hand. " I've never met a Billie that was a girl, before."Emmet gave a small smile and noticed that Billie was looking up at Mystic, soon commenting on how beautiful he is. " That's Mystic. He's a good boy, take him everywhere I go. Accept for school of course, but if I could, I would take him there as well."He noticed how Max was looking at Mystic as well., which kept Emmet from receiving his pet, and placing him back in his spot upon Emmet's shoulder. So for now, he let him sit up in the tree, basking in the small sunlight that snuck through the branches. He soon turned his attention back to Billie, looking her up and down for a moment before focusing on her face. He nonchalantly shoved his hands in his back pockets, looking down at his feet has he kicked at the blades of grass.
" You must be new around here, huh. Don't recall ever seeing you around school. Then again, I'm hardly ever at school, or when I am, I'm never paying attention so excuse me if you've been here for a while, and I'm just too dumb to have realized it."He gave a small chuckle and continued to look down at his feet. The small flowers that surrounded him swayed back and forth in the breeze that seemed to envelop them.
